David Alan Clark
I am a figurative sculptor who specializes in telling stories in bronze. History and personality are passions of mine, and I strive to create public art that can help educate residents and visitors about their community and the people who helped create it. Public art that invites visitors to immerse themselves in the story makes history come alive, and that makes me happy. Portraits are a specialty and I have been honored with commissions to create portraits of civil rights icons for cities like Memphis and Atlanta; sports heroes for universities like TCU; and veterans monuments that have more heart than starch for cities across the US.
