Born in Fort Worth, Texas, I have been an Associate member of the NSS for 40 years, and won the Tallix Foundry Prize at the 71st Annual Exhibition. In my work I attempt to reinterpret enduring myths, icons, and symbols in modern society. They are in various collections around the U.S. My sculpture "Reaching for Learning & Liberty" was unveiled by President Bush at the White House in 1989, and is currently at the George Bush Library. I have created sculptures for the Department of the Navy, The Boy Scouts of America, the National Association of Police Officers, and many corporations, foundations and municipalities. For the past several years I have been creating custom commissions for discerning patrons.
