I am first generation Albanian American born in Boston MA in 1959. Due to my ethnic heritage, a career in art, my first love, was discouraged. Choosing a medical career, I became a chiropractor in 1984 and have been in private practice ever since. In 2004, I rekindled my love for art and enrolled in the last stone and wood sculpting class of the DeCordova Museum School in Lincoln, MA. After the closure of the school, I ventured out on my own exploration and discoveries, and continued to hone my skill. In 2016, I built my own studio in my home. I have exhibited in over 75 nationally and internationally shows, am represented in galleries in Boston and PalmBeach, exhibited at Art Basel week in Miami, Art Expo NYC, SOFA Chicago, have been published frequently and won numerous awards. In 2019, I was invited to Morges Switzerland for their biennial symposium. My work can be found in collectors' home throughout the US and internationally as well. In 2020, I became the President of the New England Sculptors Association and was re elected for another term in 2021. My passion for art, specifically sculpture, has come to the forefront of my daily life. When creating, internal quiet is discovered. My hope is that you will see that reflected in my work.
