Faisal Alahmad is a contemporary figurative sculptor, born 1986 in Saudi Arabia, and raised with a multi-cultural approach to life. Faisal's work has been shown at group exhibitions in Orono, MN; San Francisco, CA; Bellingham, WA; and in Saudi Arabia, where his sculptures were also featured in two major newspapers. In 2018, he graduated with a B.F.A. in Sculpture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. During his time there, he received two awards from the annual Spring Show hosted by the Academy: Best Classical Figure for his life-size sculpture that was cast in plaster and depicted a serene woman with a clenched fist; also, Best of B.F.A. for a life-size female bust, cast in bronze, with an intense expression and a snake emerging from her ponytail.
