After a Fine Arts degree I took Nursing Studies and have that time to thank for teaching me detailed human anatomy. Once my children left home, I studied 3D Design(digital) and Ceramics and fell in love with 3-dimensional practice. I developed a need to work around my subject from every angle to produce a solid, tactile, enduring and meaningful form. I am drawn to capturing a moment, a thought, an expression, or the movement of the human figure, with a focus on detail and accurate anatomy. I work on a small scale using professional quality polymer clay and create a couple of commissioned pieces each year.
