I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. I was a professor of art for 38 years at Augsburg University, Minneapolis, MN. My sculpture was in a solo exhibition in the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and group shows in the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., and the Port of History Museum in Philadelphia. The Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul, the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, and the Royal Family of Norway have my pieces in their collections. I have two stainless steel sculptures in Richfield, MN that are 12 and 14 feet tall, a 12 ft. stainless steel piece at Augsburg University, a half life-size terra cotta piece in Willmar, MN, and a 36 ft. welded steel bas relief at the Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN.
