Heather Rison started out as a figure painter before discovering her passion for sculpture in 2013. Frequenting the only open figurative sculpting session in Utah Heather developed the skills she needed to create the art she felt was her own. Being a female sculptor in her 30's Heather strives to continue mastering her craft and becoming a household name. " Sculpture is a direct reflection of me and a way for me to channel my thoughts and feelings into a beautiful works of art. I often find it hard to express my feelings in every day life and art allows me to connect with humanity." Education: Jeff Hein apprenticeship 2011-2014 Bryce Billings apprenticeship/assistant 2014-2016 Sculpture mentors: Dennis Smith, Deon Duncan, Kraig Varner, Michael Aaron Hall. Currently residing in Salt Lake City, UT
