Dignity. It's an attribute Rory Combs finds most appealing in his Native American subjects, and it's what he strives to convey in his sculptures. Having grown up in an area rich in Native American history, Rory has been intrigued by Native American culture since childhood and marvels in their spirituality and wisdom. He earned his BA degree in Advertising Design from Iowa State University, and has attended several classes and sculpture workshops. Rory is a member of the National Sculpture Society, and his work has appeared in juried shows from Wyoming to Illinois. His work is available at Dakota Nature and Art-Hill City, SD, Thunder Horse Gallery in Ruidoso, NM, or through his website.
