Zenos has created over 175 bronze works with a focus on over life size public art commissions. With a range from conceptual to portrait busts and figures, his most notable works include • Freedom, Philadelphia, repeatedly acclaimed by media as one of the best sculptures in the world, and • The United States Air Force Memorial Honor Guard, national service memorial, Arlington. Representing the US at Japan’s Rodin Invitational International Exhibition, Zenos’ Reaching won the Hakone Award. It is installed at Utsukushi-ga-hara Open Air Museum. Japanese press and others have called him “the American Rodin.” Respectful of the history and legacy of the NSS, Zenos works with clay and tools used by its past members including St. Gaudens, DC French, James Earle Fraser & Paul Jennewein. Zenos studied by scholarship at PAFA. BFA and MFA are from University of Pennsylvania. He is an Academician of the National Academy of Design.
