NSS Studio Breakout – Virtual Event
Bring a drink, take a break, meet colleagues!
Join sculptor colleagues and friends for a 45-minute Studio Break.
Wednesday, April 28th at 6:00 PM EDT
We will all gather on screen and break-out into smaller “rooms” of 5-10 people where everyone can unmute, meet face-to-face, and openly discuss our favorite subject: Sculpture.
This month the focus of the discussion is something that is essential to the creation of your work: sculpture tools. Bring your favorite – or most indispensable – tool, tell us why it is important to you, where you got it (perhaps one you made?) and what you use it for.
NSS Board member Bruner Barrie will kick off the session. Bruner is the author of a recent article in Sculpture Review magazine titled “Sculpture’s Tools and Materials: Their Origin and Birth” and also wrote the book “A Sculptor’s Guide to Tools and Materials”.
