In mid-November 2016, Fred X Brownstein’s carving, Nurse, was unveiled at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Installed within the facility’s “healing garden”, the sculpture, made from Italian marble and standing 40 inches tall, depicts a nurse releasing a bird.
