NSS Ambassadors are volunteers; we welcome inquiries from all members (Fellow, Associate, Elected Sculptors, Allied Professional…) interested in serving as an ambassador. The primary requirements are enthusiasm, computer skills (internet, email, and videoconferencing), and time to devote to organizing and interacting with other members, the public, and potential resources.

Ambassadors are the primary contact for each NSS Community, in collaboration with the NSS offices in New York City. They help facilitate communication amongst the members of their communities and organize meetings and events with the group. Ambassadors share information about the National Sculpture Society and its various programs, such as educational workshops and classes, mentoring opportunities, exhibitions, prizes and awards, and other opportunities that encourage sculptors and promote sculpture.

We invite you to connect with the many other sculptors and sculpture lovers in your area through the formation of an NSS community. NSS will provide each Ambassador with a list of current members residing in their state of residence to be used as a starting point and will send materials to ambassadors to share with their community.
