My Name is Beau Lyday. My wife and live in Valdese, NC in a 1840's farmhouse. I work in revalued rusted tin roofing that I recover from old houses and barns and form it around a wood frame. Much of my work is influenced by gothic architecture and Celtic symbols. More recently I have been drawn to scared geometry and the use of platonic solids in my work. Every piece I make refines my existing skills and challenges me to develop new techniques and ways to create my visions of what is possible.
