1947 found me coming into this world under the Chinese Year of The Golden Boar, happening every 60 years, so I have had two Golden Boar Years. Both were fantastical!!!! From Cape Cod I traveled to Boston to New England School of Art in 1965, graduated, wanting to be a painter. Had gallery shows in both places, then in 1970 moved to Mid-Coast Maine and spent 25 years exploring the Maine Woods and Shores, and exhibiting my art there, now for over 45 years! Started sculpting there too, and in time was juried every year into Birds In Art, then accepted into the National Sculpture Society and The Society of animal Artists...years have gone by, now at 75, I am a Fellow in the NSS and a Master Signature Artist of the SAA, with many garnered awards, of which I feel incredibly honored to have received. I continue to sculpt and paint with shows from my island in the Salish Sea of Washington to the Maine Coast, to Charleston, SC.
