I am a Ghanaian born American sculptor. I hold a Master of Art and Design from the Kennesaw State University, Master of Fine Art in sculpture and a Bachelor of Education in Art, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and University of Education in Ghana respectively. Since 2005, I have been practicing sculpture and have numerous public sculptures to my credit, including a national project of a life size Dr Busia statue and the bust of the big six in Ghana, to commemorate the golden jubilee of Ghana. Unless I am commissioned to the specificity of my client, I appropriate this concept of masking into most of my sculptures. This means the meaning behind my sculptures is hidden for my audience to interact with the work to generate the meaning behind them. Both my relief and in the round sculptures, I pay attention to details, to capture the souls of the sculptures.
