Professional sculptor, amateur historian, budding writer and wanna-be tango dancer. I'm a second-generation artist in an arms race with myself to see how powerful my sculpture can become. I joined the NSS to help shorten the distance between myself and those members who operate at the level of expert. I'll learn something here if I am fortunate.
Most of my recent commissions have been historic, bronze, publicly funded and center around the African American experience, like the commission I'm currently working on for the City of Jacksonville. I'm also excited by the prospect of working outside this niche, like the sculpture shown in image number 5 named "We The People" - a collaboration with Detroit-based sculptor Richard Bennett for the College of Law at Michigan State University.
My studio is based in central Florida and I have clients scattered from Michigan to Miami. Feel free to call me directly at 386-956-1724 anytime after 10 am, eastern time.
