I am a life long artist living in the picturesque mountains of the Hudson Valley, surrounded by farms,lakes and rivers. I have studied anatomy, figure drawing and portrait drawing. Focusing mainly on pastel and watercolor paintings. It was only until other colleagues suggested that my drawings where so sculptural, that I decided to turn my figure drawings into 3D clay figures! I’m excited about the process and the end results. I use my sketches as my blueprint to create strong contemporary female ceramic sculptures. .
