Charles Welles is a sculptor, who primarily carves marble. On occasion, he also carves wood and works in bronze. He has been sculpting for more than thirty years. His work includes figurative, abstract and conceptual work. His studio is in Bardwell, near Factoryville, in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He exhibits throughout the northeastern United States as well as regionally. In addition to exhibiting at the AFA Gallery in Scranton, he is also affiliated with the Springville Schoolhouse Art Studios.
