Sculptor Cyndi Brown has a deep admiration and fascination with the unique beauty, dignity and humor of all animals. This is the inspiration for her work, as she seeks to celebrate the special affinity that exists between humans and animals. Her sculptural pieces are hand-crafted and one of a kind. Each animal sculpture created is uniquely hand-built out of stoneware clay, bisque fired, and then carefully hand painted to create a sense of realism and personality.
Her process of creating sculpture is very organic, and she allows the element of chance to influence the final posture and attitude of each sculpture.
