Clark Moss, Fine artist. I sculpt horses because I know them. There was a pony in the barn waiting for me before I was born. I come from a long line of horsemen from both sides of my family. So, my life started with horses in utero. If I was not riding or caring for horses, I was playing with model horses. I can clearly remember making up stories and relationships while lining up plastic horses. In over 50 years the marriage between horses and art have merged into a life's passion. As a sculptor my work tends to be linear, sagittal, and explores movement as metaphor. I am interested in exploring a narrative through placement and expression. I work in oil-based clay that is cast into bronze of resin. My work is tabletop to monument.
