As a sculptor and conservationist, I believe every underdog needs a champion. My stone & bronze sculptures reflect my passion for endangered wildlife, especially the underdog species such as bats, hellbenders, vultures and the critically endangered American red wolf.
My wife, Loti Woods (also an avid conservationist), established Weiler Woods for Wildlife to increase public awareness and appreciation for these misunderstood, undervalued and often maligned species. All my artwork is donated to help support the underdogs of nature and protect their habitat.
To view some of my work, visit the North Carolina Zoo to see "Hellbender's Rock" (a hellbender) and the Bradbury Art Museum at Arkansas State University for "Just Settling In" (a red wolf mom & her pup). Or anyone of 36 zoos & conservation organizations that are breeding red wolves where a casting of the red wolf sculpture is being donated & installed. We hope you will join us on our journey to use art to make a positive difference.
