Born in Fort Worth, Texas, I have been an Associate member of the NSS for 40+ years, and won the Tallix Foundry Prize at the 71st Annual Exhibition. In my work I attempt to reinterpret enduring myths, icons, and symbols in modern society. They are in various collections around the U.S. My sculpture "Reaching for Learning & Liberty" was unveiled by President Bush at the White House in 1989, and is currently at the George Bush Library. I have created sculptures for the Department of the Navy, The Boy Scouts of America, the National Association of Police Officers, and many corporations, foundations and municipalities. I continue to create custom commissions for discerning patrons.
