Don Gale was one of the founding professors of the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut when it was rewarded full accreditation in 1995. He held the position of Chairman of the Sculpture Department until 2010 when he was granted the honorary title of Professor Emeritus. Solo exhibitions include those held at the Westchester County Gallery, White Plains, NY; the Valerie Miller Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, the Speaker Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, and the Cline Fine Art Gallery, Santa Fe, NM. His commissioned works are the collections of: The Rockwell Foundation, CA; The Schreiber Foundation, CA, Glendale Federal S & L Association, CA; George Page Museum CA; Mohegan Park, Norwich, CT, and the Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT.
