Dorri J. Buchholtz is an Atlanta-based sculptor creating figurative and canine sculpture. Her work explores posture, gesture, and connection, often capturing a fleeting moment that feels both familiar and emotionally immediate. Ranging from introspective figurative works to playful canine subjects, her sculptures share a strong sense of character and life. Working primarily in clay, Buchholtz builds each sculpture by hand with close attention to gesture, balance, and expression. Her work is produced in earthenware, bronze composite, and foundry bronze. She has exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, with work held in private collections in the U.S. and abroad.
