I consider my sculptures as raw abstract. I use a welder, plasma cutter together with blacksmith techniques to achieve my art forms. The concept of wabi sabi, the Japanese concept of seeing beauty from imperfection has always intrigued me. I am 77 years old and have been creating sculptures for nearly five decades. I especially like to have my sculptures in public venues. I presently have seven sculptures listed on the Smithsonian Institution Directory of American Art in Washington DC. Two additional sculptures are awaiting inclusion into the directory.
