Gerald Rockwell is a professional artist residing in Tucson Arizona. He spent his younger years moving around the country being part of a military family. In 1975 his family moved to Ft. Huachuca. Since then, he has been a permanent resident of Arizona. Gerald has a background in commercial art and coating formulation. During his tenure as a commercial artist, he collaborated with numerous clients; however, he discovered greater autonomy and creative fulfillment in his pursuit of fine arts. Though skilled with a pen and brush he discovered a love for sculpture after a trip exploring museums and gardens across Europe. Fueled by this new desire he became a self-taught sculptor and later furthered his training with friend and mentor Merlin Cohen. Gerald work has been juried into several national shows including Sculpture Tucson in Tucson Arizona, and Sculpture in the Park in Loveland Colorado. His work is represented by galleries across the country.
