UAP believes that incredible things don’t just happen - they’re created, nurtured, and believed in. Founded in 1993 by brothers Matt and Dan Tobin, what began as a modest Brisbane practice has grown into a global art and design studio and workshop. In 2019, UAP acquired the 60-year-old foundry Polich Tallix in upstate New York, cementing its position as one of the world’s leading art foundries. Today, UAP operates major studios and facilities in Brisbane, New York, and Shanghai, supported by satellite offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Riyadh. UAP is part of Art Makers &Co, a collective of specialists in the arts and design—thinkers, makers, and stewards of creativity—united by a shared commitment to bringing ambitious ideas to life. From the design studio to the factory floor, UAP offers end-to-end services: curatorial and commissioning support, concept development, design, engineering, fabrication, and installation.
