Gwen Marcus's sculpture can be seen in museums and exclusive private and public collections worldwide, including the Stamford Hospital, CT; Brookgreen Gardens,SC; the Chi Mei Museum in Taiwan; the Cape Cod Museum of Art, MA; and Champs Hill Gardens in England. Critics have praised Marcus for her sensitivity and understanding of the human form. She has received numerous honors and commissions, including the highly esteemed Gold Medal of Honor from the Allied Artists of America. In addition, she has been awarded the Gold Medal of Honor twice by Audubon Artist, Inc.; the Gold Medal at the Hudson Valley Art Association; the Gloria Medal from the National Sculpture Society; and has received the Gold Medal of Honor five times from the American Artist Professional League. She has also been awarded the Centennial Medal of Honor and the Gold Medal of Honor three times by the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. Marcus is a fellow and served on the board of the National Sculpture Society.
