After many twists and turns in my artistic journey I have finally found my passion in sculpture, and more specifically recycled cardboard sculpture. As an artist for most of my life I always felt that expressing myself through many different mediums, it was a struggle to stand out. After using cardboard as a supporting element in some of my work I grew to love it as my main medium. Each piece is a statement on the subject and the medium. One piece recycles more cardboard than one may think. My pieces are monumental in size and after a structure is built the detail and message becomes the most important aspect of each work. Each piece is made from recycled monochromatic cardboard or colored cardboard. I never paint or alter the cardboard itself. There is always one hidden element in each piece that is not cardboard for the viewer to find. My pieces have been displayed in juried shows along the East Coast for the last year.
