I'm classically trained sculptor with a love of the human figure. I've also created many relief pieces as well as quite a few medallic sculptures.
For the last several years I have been using 3-d scans of my figures to create new relief pieces by manipulating the digital scans with 3-d modeling programs such as FreeForm Modeling Plus and ZBrush.
The final work is produced via a cnc mill or 3-d printer and then recast and sometimes reworked in a tooling wax before final casting in either bronze or resin.
I also enjoy the polychroming process of some pieces since I feel painting them gives a unique and personal way of enhancing the sculpted forms.
