Julia Fedorova is a New York–based botanical artist and sculptor and the creator of Flower Engineering, an artistic method centered on the study and construction of botanical form across materials. Her practice, Flowers Across Media, explores the flower through sculpture, structure, light, texture, color, and movement. Drawing on more than a decade of detailed botanical study and craftsmanship, Fedorova investigates how botanical form changes as it moves from one material language to another. Her evolving practice encompasses polymer clay, ceramics, metal, glass, and light, bringing close observation of nature together with sculptural construction and material exploration.
