As a self-taught sculptor, my works have evolved over thirty years. Representational sculpture was not a choice, but a natural extension of a vision. The forms, shapes and gestures in both wood and bronze are expressions of internal and external influences, creating a narrative about man’s relationship and its impact on nature. As my work continues to evolve, it includes the human figure and has led to capturing and honoring generations and connecting to new generations as the world continues to change. After living in an RV for over 20 years, traveling the country creating art, doing museum exhibitions, and selling sculpture at a variety of venues, we settled in the small town of Cambridge, Idaho. This rural community is perfect for creating art. Only the distraction that takes me away from the studio is being on the mountain, in the river or shoveling snow! We still traverse the US doing art festivals and meeting our amazing collectors in person - Ken Newman NSS AAA SAA
