Kimberley Harding creates sculptural works using a variety of fiber and basketry techniques. A resident of Portland, Maine, Harding has exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the US. Her work focuses on themes of nature, spirituality, environmentalism, personal experience, and social issues. She has won awards from the Art League of Lowell and 6 Bridges Gallery and grants from the Cultural Councils of Arlington and Maynard, MA. She serves on the boards of the Union of Maine Visual Artists and Northeast Basketmakers Guild and on the Exhibits Committee of the National Basketry Organization.
