Originally from Ohio farm country. I was raised in a very creatively active and eclectic family. My ceramic studies began at a very young age. I pursued a BFA degree in Ceramic Studio Arts at Ohio State University and Kent State University. My work is about story telling and often described as quirky. I make characters real or imagined. Common themes are climate change and acceptance of others. My home is in Washington by mountains and the sea.
