Inspired by the flowing energies of being, nature, and the human body, I use line and form in calm, minimalist ways to create a subtle sense of peace and reflectiveness for my viewers. Often working in the abstract, the human torso, water, wind, clouds, and currents of life and landscape are typical subjects for me, and I often attempt to make my forms seem as if they appeared from these currents and flows simply and naturally. There is a calm immediacy to my works that invite viewers will explore and ponder. I use a variety of media, usually focusing on stone, wood, and bronze.
