Sandra Deiana is an Italian sculptor and coin designer based in the Netherlands. Trained at the School of the Art of the Medal of the Italian State Mint in Rome, her work combines drawing, relief sculpture, traditional plaster modeling, and medallic art. She has created designs and sculptures for mints and institutions internationally, with a particular interest in portraiture, figurative work, symbolism, and storytelling through relief. Alongside her work in coins and medals, Sandra is expanding her sculptural practice into three-dimensional figurative and narrative sculpture, exploring new materials and techniques while maintaining a strong connection to traditional craftsmanship. Her work has been exhibited and recognized internationally, and she continues to develop a practice that bridges the intimate scale of medallic art with larger sculptural forms.
