Sandra Shaw is a sculptor and art historian with over thirty years experience. Her professional training includes studio instruction at the National Academy of Design and extensive travel to international art collections. Her commissions include the Tanforan Memorial monument, San Bruno, CA. Her works are held internationally in private collections and institutions. Awards include the Leonard J. Meiselman Memorial Award, NSS, the American Academy of Equine Art Foundry Award, the Chaim Gross Scholarship, NSS, the Lucresia Bori Award of Merit, NASFA. Memberships include California Art Club Elected Sculptor, American Artist Professional League Elected Artist, Allied Artists of America.
Sandra lectures widely to college students and adult audiences on the art of Western civilization.
