I am a textile designer originally from Turkey and currently based in New York. For 22 years, I built a successful career in the fashion and design industry in Turkey. To expand my creative vision, I traveled extensively to many parts of the world. My passion for my profession led me to live in China for six months, where I deepened my expertise in technical development and production processes. Throughout my design career, I have always approached each creation with the care and intention of crafting a work of art. Over the past seven years, my passion for clay and the expressive power of the human form has guided me toward sculpture. My current work explores themes such as migration, gender equality, and the resilience of immigrant women striving to establish themselves in new cultural landscapes. I work with a figurative yet contemporary approach that embraces imperfection and lived experience as essential elements of beauty. I am currently developing my practice at one of New York
