I graduated from Arizona State University with a BFA in painting and drawing. in 1976. I moved to Sedona in 1977 and got a job at a local bronze foundry and also took sculpture classes from Ken Ottinger and Eugenia Everette including sculpture from life. I have been sculpting now for 46 years first in stoneware clay and now only bronze . My subject matter is usually of baby animals, but my latest piece is of a native American boy with a parrot on his shoulder and his dog jumping up to irritate the parrot. The boy is standing in water (Oak Creek) in this instance. In addition to sculpting I also do oil paintings. I'm an Associate member of WAOW, AWA, OPA, and NSS.
