Terry Van Loenen was born in Hill City, Kansas. As a child he was always fascinated by Wild Life having many exotic pets including pet monkey, raccoon, as well as horses, dogs, rabbits. Later in life his family moved to Arizona where he became avid outdoorsmen. He always considered himself a Wild Life artist. In high school he took all art and crafts classes he could. He started practicing taxidermy in 8th grade.
Terry Van Loenen had been professional taxidermist over 30 years. He had owned Game Tracks Wildlife Studious in Austin, Texas in 1987 – 2007. During this time he had won numerous awards including: NTA National – North American titles, Safari Club International Sportsman Choice Award, Texas Best All-Around Award, World Best Professional division.
Throughout the years of his carrier he extensively studied habitat and animal anatomy in Africa, Australia, Russia, Europe and North America collecting multiple trophies as well as enhancing his sculpting and taxidermy skills.
