My passion for stained glass sculpture was discovered quite by accident, while deployed to Kuwait (2001) with the Arizona Army National Guard. Passing long hours of downtime, I ordered a "how to" on an Art Deco stained lampshade and some additional tools. The lampshade never was finished, but it did fuel some ideas. Returning stateside, I enrolled in classes at a local stained glass studio to get a better understanding of tools and technique. This is where I decided, working in one dimension was not for me. Now, nearly 20 years later, I have amassed a body of sculpted glass works that represent both my evolution as an artist and interactions and explorations across this great green earth.
