Babette Bloch Studio
Babette Bloch‘s work is featured in ‘Mansion in May,’ an extremely successful fundraiser mounted every two years for the Morristown New Jersey Medical Center.
Steel Magnolia II is silhouetted by beautiful foliage in the distance, while the pool in the foreground projects a shimmering ephemeral reflection. Egrets #6/9 graces the front of the mansion, and Sunflowers interact with the classic walled garden.
Inside the mansion, over 25 smaller wall-hung and free-standing sculptures are beautifully displayed as well. These works are on view within the overall exhibit created by Scott A. Broadfoot of Broadfoot & Broadfoot. Scott calls the exhibit Areté (Greek for excellence or virtue: an expression of a good life).
