NSS Elected Member, Jeff Birchill, had his  sculpture of an octopus juried into the 62nd Society of Animal Artist’s Annual Exhibition.  Titled Núu in Xaad kil  and meaning “Pacific Giant Octopus” in the Hawaiian Massett dialect, the cephalopod is made from Persian Red Travertine and will be on view at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, Redding, California from September 24 – October 30, 2022.
