On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Julia Knight unveiled her sculpture of art promoter Don Kordecki in Cartersville, GA.  The life-sized portrait of the former Cartersville resident is installed in the Shakespeare Garden in the downtown area.  Kordecki was a former Technical Director of Carterville’s Grand Theatre and helped found and organize several community theatre groups and served on various civic committees and boards. “I knew Don, like other members of the community, and am thrilled to be part of this project to keep his memory alive,” said Knight.
