On August 25^th, Littleton Alston unveiled his life-size sculpture of football player, Gale Sayers, in Omaha, NE.  The bronze statue of the former Chicago Bears star and Pro Football Hall of Famer is installed at Seemann Stadium at Central High from which Sayers graduated in 1961. At the unveiling, Sayers’ brother, Roger, spoke on his brother’s legacy and the importance of his early education. Alston is also teaches sculpture at neighboring Creighton University.
