On January 18, Littleton Alston’s Martin Luther King, Jr. sculpture was unveiled in Decatur, IL. The over-8-foot-tall bronze of King depicts the civil rights leader with two small children in tow and is located in downtown Decatur. The sculpture was a gift from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation. Littleton Alston, is an Omaha, Nebraska-based artist and Creighton University associate professor of sculpture.
