NSS Associate Amber Lelli’s suspended sculpture, Celestial Falls, was installed inside the new Donelson Library in Nashville, TN. The sculpture measures 28 feet long by 17 feet tall, hangs over the children’s section, and depicts natural elements found in middle Tennessee including the common plants of Aster, Lemon Mint Bee Balm, and Blue Flag Iris. Lelli won the commission two years ago and had the piece installed prior to the grand opening of the library on June 24.  In addition to her own practice, Lelli is the studio manager for NSS Fellow Alan LeQuire and had work included in the 2022 and 2024 Young Sculptors Exhibition at the NSS Gallery.
