Paul Rhymer
Earlier in the year, Birds In Art selected Rhymer as Master Wildlife Artist of 2023. A longtime attraction of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Birds In Art includes works by avian artists from around the world. One of Rhymer’s pieces for the exhibition is a response to the pandemic. Titled Corvid 19; Murder Suspects, the piece consists of nineteen of his favorite birds in a chaotic interaction.
Paul Rhymer, FNSS speaks about this piece in the September/October issue of Art of the West. The feature also covers his career and his association with the Society of Animal Artists and National Sculpture Society.
