On Veteran’s Day, NSS Fellow Tuck Langland unveiled his World War II Memorial at Myrtle Beach in SC.  The memorial which features a pergola modeled after a guard house, a P-47 Thunderbolt sculpture, and period-specific flags that fly above the memorial, is located in Warbird Park in the South Carolina beach community.  The ceremony was attended by local war veterans and presided over by WWII Army Air Corps fighter pilot and former Myrtle Beach mayor, Bob Hirsch.
