Loveland, CO will be hosting its 42nd Annual Sculpture in the Park.  The three-day event runs August 7 – 9 this year at Benson Sculpture Park. Hundreds of sculptors from all over the country exhibit their work under tents on the garden grounds.  The sculpture fest attracts tens of thousands visitors who may purchase works and talk to exhibiting artists.  What began with five local sculptors inviting friends and colleagues to display and sell artworks in this small town 50 miles north of Denver has evolved into the largest outdoor juried show and sale in the U.S. Dozens of NSS members, from Fellows, Elected Members, to Associates, exhibit at the show. Proceeds generated from the event go towards the purchase of sculpture for the 10-acre Benson Sculpture Garden. To date, 185 pieces of sculpture valued at over $5 million are on view against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
